Park rangers in Maine's only national park, Acadia National Park, have been involved in an ongoing battle with so-called naturists, people who visit the park to sunbathe and swim naked, and in some cases engage in sexual misconduct. Among those caught were two men perfoming oral sex at a popular "naturist" swimming hole, Lake Wood. "Some of the problems at Lake Wood have been decreasing because of the extra efforts we’ve been making," reports Park Ranger Kevin Cochary. The park rangers are very distraught over these events. "It is illegal. We don’t allow it," said Ranger Cochary. He asked that folks using the park at least wear bathing suits.
