Right whales around Cape Cod are lingering in the area, becoming tangled in fishing lines and posing a threat of potential collision with vessels in the area. To help prevent collision, shipping lines have been moved farther east. Last year the whales left the area in late November, and experts say there is no telling how long they will stay this year.
